ABOUT ALICIA
Experienced, dedicated and focused on results
I am a fully qualified, native-speaker Spanish teacher with 25 years of experience teaching IGCSE, GCSE and A-Level Spanish across examination boards.
I have taught in independent and state schools and at higher-education level, including Warwick University, and have experience as Head of Spanish.
I am also an AQA accredited Examiner and Moderator. This gives me a detailed understanding of examination requirements and the skills students need to demonstrate in order to achieve the highest possible grades.
My academic background in Law, International Relations and International Economic Law is particularly valuable when teaching A-Level Spanish, where students explore politics, history and contemporary issues in the Spanish-speaking world.

TEACHING APPROACH
Every student is different. Every lesson is personalised.
My approach begins by assessing the student's current level, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and establishing exactly what they want to achieve.
We then work together to fill gaps in knowledge, improve weaker areas and stretch the student towards their full potential. Each lesson is carefully tailored to the individual.
Lessons are available online via Zoom, Microsoft Teams or FaceTime. Holiday tuition can also be arranged at mutually convenient times.
